Now that our spring scents are available to you, we thought we would share the stories behind our inspiration for The Spring Collection.
It all started with Magnolia Blossom…
We were looking to add a floral to our seasonal collection aside from Blushing Rose which only stays for the month of February. Magnolia trees bloom brilliant flowers for a short period of time, so we wanted to capture that moment and memorialize it into a candle. After choosing between two similar yet different magnolia scents, we settled on the scent that you now know as Magnolia Blossom. This candle is light and airy and a perfect addition into our fresh scents category.
Next came Pink Pomelo…
We had received a suggestion to add a citrus scent into our collection…(Thank you Emily R!). Since Lemon Drop from last summer did well with our customers, we wanted to make this idea into a reality. Our search for a grapefruit scent went quite swimmingly as we were able to find it very quickly. From there, Pink Pomelo really created itself and we’re happy to say that it’s one of our favourites!
Strawberry Fields followed after…
While hunting for a “fruity” scent, we stumbled across Strawberry Fields. While it isn’t entirely strawberry season yet, we thought this scent would make a great addition to the collection and that our customers who adore those sweet notes would think so as well.
Last but not least, Fresh Rain…
We know we aren’t alone in our love for the smell of fresh rain, which is why we wanted to find fragrance oils that truly embodied that scent. This candle is light and airy with a hint of musk to give it some depth. This is another favourite we have from The Spring Collection.
Maybe we forgot one…
Those of you reading this are getting the real treat here. There is one more candle we have yet to release, but trust us you’re going to LOVE it. This secret fragrance has notes of 2 types of citrus and light musk… Any ideas of what this scent could be? Let us know on our Instagram!
